“It’s all about getting the system up and running quickly”

As a supervisor in service and aftersales, the daily focus is often on one thing: getting escalators back into operation as quickly as possible.

Kristoffer Morén, Service/Aftersales Supervisor at ALT, explains that they previously faced challenges with many escalator components having extremely long lead times, sometimes up to 12 weeks.

“Our biggest challenge was getting materials quickly for out-of-service units,” says Kristoffer.
